If you really want to see Cyprus, then driving is a
must. But to enjoy your stay, remember to keep to the rules.
If you're from the UK then it'll be fairly familiar as we drive on the
left hand side of the road. Most major roads, motorways and urban
roads are of good quality but off the beaten track, they can be
unpredictable!
You must wear front seat belts and children under five MUST NOT,
under any circumstances, occupy the front passenger seat. |

Drinking and Driving |
Blood / Alcohol limit is 22mg.
Suspicion of drinking
and driving will result in a blood test and possible fines.

PARKING
In main Town Centres, you can park for around €2 for half a day.
Some towns have parking meters, which cost 20 cents per hour.
Parking is free on Saturday
afternoons, Sundays and Public Holidays.
